Nice start for the rest of the ace of the jungle. The animated film does better than its first part released in 2017 (62,090 admissions for its 1st day). They were more than 70,000 spectators for the launch of the sequel, previews included.
Blue Beetlewhich cannot count on previews to boost its score, brings together almost 50,000 spectators, and therefore arrives on the 2nd step of the podium of the 1st day in France.

In 3rd place, for once, we find a short film! It is more precisely about the new short film by Pedro Almodovar, presented in a double program, with in the preamble his previous short, The Human Voice, carried by Tilda Swinton. As a reminder, his new film, Strange way of lifeis a gay western, bringing together Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal.
In 4th position, rather successful launch for Reality, a tense thriller, carried by Sydney Sweeney, who opened the Festival Nouvelles Vagues in Biarritz. Nearly 7,000 curious people were tempted.
