Friday July 24, two years after the first part went online, The Kissing Booth 2 was finally available on Netflix. Obviously, the news was everywhere and the film was watched en masse by many users of the streaming platform. So we found Joey King in the lead role and, we don't spoilera not, but there are many who were very hopeful that a third installment would be planned after the end of this second film. Fortunately, the wait was not very long to know the future of this already cult saga. Actress Joey King said during an online event that a third installment would indeed see the light of day on Netflix and planned for the year 2021.
In addition, the Netflix US Instagram account confirmed this announcement by disclosing an extract from this third installment. Indeed, the already eagerly awaited new film has, in fact, already been shot and in the greatest secrecy. The shooting took place in South Africa and took place just after the shooting of the second part. We discover Elle by the pool and receiving a call from Harvard but filtering it. The streaming platform is therefore wasting no time and did not wait for the success of the second part to launch the production of the third. As much to say to you that this news did not go unnoticed. On the contrary, many fans rejoice at the idea of finding all the actors of The Kissing Booth. No specific date has been announced but we can take comfort in knowing that the broadcast is scheduled for the year 2021.
