Specialized in the innovation of SSDTeamGroup announces a new product equipped with a graphene cooling label.

Called MP44L, this M.2 NVMe SSD therefore plans to last a long time thanks to a relatively original cooling system.

A multipurpose label

Cooling an SSD has often been a source of problems for most manufacturers. Until now, the best solution was to integrate a heatsink. Main disadvantage of this method: it drastically thickens an otherwise very thin design, which therefore makes its installation more difficult.

It is in this field that TeamGroup intervenes with a graphene label. This innovation comes… to dissipate the problem of bulkiness of a heat sink.

This label literally stuck to the SSD is indeed less than 1 mm thick, for cooling that has, on paper, nothing to envy to more traditional cooling solutions.

A high-performance SSD in more ways than one

Beyond this original innovation, Team Group has not forgotten to offer a high-performance M.2 NVMe SSD. It can indeed count on PCIe Gen 4, in addition to SLC Cache technology for greater efficiency than PCie Gen 3 SSDs.

In terms of sequential read and write speeds, the MP44L sits on good values, up to 5,000 and 4,500 MB/s respectively. These speeds will in this way offer a significant boost to any PC, even portable, thanks to this label.

This speed of execution is further enhanced by LDPC (Low-Density Parity Check Code) technology. Finally, this new TeamGroup SSD is not to be outdone in terms of durability, thanks to recent PLM (Predictable Latency Mode) and RRL (Read Recovery Level) technologies.

The MP44L is available in several versions, from 250 GB to 2 TB, with an initial price displayed at 49.99 dollars to go up to 135.99 dollars for the 1 TB version, and to 287.99 dollars for the model 2 To. Its marketing will begin first at Amazon and Newegg in the United States at the end of August, before arriving here at a still undetermined date.
