An argument between two men escalated in a bar in Vienna-Margareten on Sunday afternoon. Because a 43-year-old allegedly spoke badly about him, a 59-year-old Austrian grabbed a kitchen knife from the bar and threatened his opponent with it.
The innkeeper took the knife from the older man and in the meantime the victim alerted the police. Officers from the Schönbrunner Straße police station temporarily arrested the 59-year-old. No one was injured in the incident.
