At the helm of the Netflix series, we can find Albert Kim (Sleepy Hollow), as showrunner, screenwriter and executive producer. Based on Nickelodeon’s beloved animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender, the live-action show will star Filipino-Canadian actor Gordon Cormier (The Stand) as Aang. Kiawentiio (Anne with an E) will play the role of Katara opposite Ian Ousley (Physical, 13 Reasons Why) in that of Sokka and Dallas Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, PEN15) in that from Zuko. Joining them are Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) as Fire Lord Ozai, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett) as Uncle Iroh, Lim Kay Siu (Anna and the King ) will play Gyatso and finally Ken Leung (Lost) will lend his features to Commander Zhao.
