The Last of Us: an impressive new concept art for the multiplayer project, an update on the sales of the series

The Last of Us will only celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, in June, and yet, it has already been entitled to its remake with The Last of Us Part I on PS5 (available from €61.49 on Amazon.co.uk). Between the PC port of the latter scheduled for March and the imminent series HBOthis anniversary year will still be rich for the fans.

But another project will also be talked about in the months to come. Naughty Dog had indeed confirmed thata stand-alone multiplayer was planned for 2023first concept art supporting. He continues to us teaser with a second official illustration showing this time two characters in a desolate region, surmounted by a huge ferry that we already hope to be able to explore together. He specifies that the project will be presented in the coming months (logical) and that it is the developers Vinit Agarwal, Joe Pettinati and Anthony Newman who are leading the boat.

We’re looking forward to The Last of Us’ 10th anniversary in June, and we’re excited to share more with you about the future of this franchise. We’ll have a few fun surprises for you along the way, but later this year we’ll start giving you some details about our ambitious The Last of Us multiplayer game. With a team led by Vinit Agarwal, Joe Pettinati and Anthony Newman, the project is shaping up to be a new experience for our studio, but rooted in Naughty Dog’s passion for delivering amazing stories, characters, and gameplay. We first shared concept art of the project with you last year, and we hope this new artwork below gets you more excited about what our team is working on.

He is otherwise said that the saga The Last of Us sold 37 million copies as of December 2022, that the specifics of the PC version of The Last of Us Part I will be presented closer to its release and that the making of the series will be unveiled in parallel with its broadcast to better allow us to appreciate its creative process. All in all, a nice program.
