The trailer for episode 7 of The Last of Us teases the DLC unfairly criticized by video game trolls. Here is what awaits you in “Left Behind”. Warning, spoilers.
Warning, spoilers. The following paragraphs reveal plot elements of the DLC (downloadable additional content) of the video game The Last of Us: Part I.
The first season of The Last of Us is slowly but surely approaching its epic end. But before arriving at the outcome, the HBO series will give another return to the past with the seventh episode, expected on Monday February 27 on Prime Video in France.
This penultimate chapter, entitled “Left Behind”, will be directly inspired by the DLC (additional downloadable content) of the same name of the first video game. The Last of Us: Part Iaccording to the images revealed in the trailer for the episode.

Riley has joined the Fireflies and she is forced to leave the city of Boston for a specific mission, which means that she will have to be separated from Ellie.
So she organizes one last night in a mall with Ellie. During this evening, they also share a kiss. But their happiness is short-lived as they are attacked by infected and are both bitten. As we already know, only Ellie survived and realized that she was immune to the virus. [FIN DES SPOILERS]

If this DLC was praised by critics when it was released in 2014, a year after the release of The Last of Us: Part Ihe suffered numerous attacks from homophobic and racist trolls, with more than inappropriate comments on the forums.
And if we think back to the homophobic wave triggered by the release of episode 3 of The Last of Us, centered on the love story between Bill (Nick Offerman) and Frank (Murray Bartlett), we can unfortunately fear that episode 7 does not suffer the same fate.
But the majority of fans of the series loved the third episode (and cried in front of it!), so we hope that the public will be equally moved by the seventh episode, which is an important moment in the development of the character of Ellie. His interpreter Bella Ramsey will be accompanied in this chapter by actress Storm Reid (Euphoria), in the skin of Riley.
