The Last of Us (HBO): 11 new posters reveal the cast of the series

The highly anticipated series The Last of Us, adaptation of the video game of the same name signed HBO, has just revealed 11 new posters dedicated to its main characters. In addition to Joel and Ellie, these posters give us a better look at the rest of the cast, Marlene, Bill and Tommy in the lead.

A five-star cast

If we had already been able to discover Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Bella Ramsey (Game Of Thrones) in the trailer, these new posters show us key characters from the series for the first time. Among them, Tess (Anna Torv, seen in mindhunter), Bill played by Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Tommy (Gabriel Luna, seen in Terminator: Dark Fate), or even Marlene played by Merle Dandrige (The Flight Attendant). A nice cast.

On Prime Video in France?

Like all HBO productions, such as Game Of Thrones Where House of the Dragon, many predicted that the series would arrive on the OCS streaming platform in France. But the exclusivity agreement between the American studio and the French service expires at the end of 2022.

Our colleagues from variety recently revealed that a new agreement between HBO and Amazon Prime Video would allow the platform to take over from OCS in France from 2023, and to broadcast its future programs. If nothing is official yet, it could be that the series The Last of Us therefore be visible to us via Prime Video.

It should be noted that Amazon’s streaming service already has several HBO programs in its December catalog, among them the series DMZ, Peacemakerand Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.

Series The Last of Us will be composed of 10 episodes, and broadcast from January 15th.
