It’s now official, the Amazon Prime platform will host, the day after its broadcast in the United States, episodes of the long-awaited series The Last of Us. Broadcast from January 15 on HBO, with one episode each Monday, it will be available free of charge 24 hours later, in VF and VOST, for Amazon Prime subscribers.
What is Amazon Prime Video?
Amazon Prime Video is an SVOD service that allows you to watch movies and series in streaming. For moviegoers, the service catalog is quite well supplied. You will find recent films, classics, but also a lot of titles from genre cinema. Many documentaries are also present on the platform, as well as content for children. To benefit from the Prime Video service, you must be an Amazon Prime member. In addition to access to Amazon’s video-on-demand platform, you get many benefits on deliveries, Kindle books or music.

How do I subscribe to Amazon Prime Video?
There are two ways to subscribe to Amazon’s SVOD service:
If you already have an Amazon account, just go to the site in the Prime tab. You will then have to choose your offer from the monthly subscription at the price of €6.99 per month, or the annual subscription at the price of €69.90 per month. You have a one month free trial. If you don’t have an Amazon account, just create one. The procedure is then the same.
You can also subscribe via an authorized partner. Internet service providers Free and SFR offer subscription to the SVOD service at the same price. To subscribe to Amazon Prime via Free, you must go to your Freebox subscriber area, Television section and make the request. To subscribe via SFR, simply go to your customer area and subscribe to the option.
Once the steps have been completed, all you have to do is install the Amazon Prime Video application on your television. Prime Video is pre-installed on the Freebox TV decoder and available directly from the TV interface. For SFR customers, it is also accessible from your television on channel 67.
Once you have subscribed to Amazon Prime, you will be able to subscribe to many additional paid channels, which will complement the already substantial Prime Video offer. HBO content will be included in the paid Warner Pass next March.
