The Last of Us Part I: another small patch, the Steam Deck is not a priority for Naughty Dog

For the first time, PC gamers finally got to experience the franchise The Last of Us of Naughty Dog with a port of the PS5 remake for computers. A boon for all gamers who did not have playstation or the new fans who devoured the series from HBO Max.

But now, despite a postponement, The Last of Us Part I was a disaster on PC at launch. Quickly, Naughty Dog apologized and promised updates to remove bugs and fix numerous technical issues. Several patches have been released, including the v1.0.1.7 This eveningfixing bugs related to gamepads Xbox, to ATH, to crashes following certain commands or to poor memory management. By the way, the developers invite players equipped with a graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series to download the 531.58 driver to avoid crashes.

Naughty Dog has a lot on the board, patches like this will still continue to arrive over the players and the studio had announced in a tweet that the Steam Deck version was not a priorityenough to frustrate players who have adopted the hybrid between computer and portable console of Valve. Finally, the director Neil Druckman took the floor himself to clarify that Naughty Dog don’t focus on status Checked from the Steam Deck version. As a reminder, the machine is capable of running many games, but Valve has integrated a verification system with tablets Checked, Playable, Unsupported And Unknown. Currently, The Last of Us Part I is officially not supported by the Steam Deck, developers focus on optimization and stability on all platforms, namely PCs (and their many configurations) and the Steam Deck. Clearly, you have to be patient for a while longer for an optimal experience.

If you still want to embark on the adventure with Ellie And Joel, The Last of Us Part I is available at €53.99 on Gamesplanet.
