The Last of Us Part I: notes from the English-speaking press

Born on PlayStation 3 then ported to PS4 as The Last of Us Remastered, The Last of Us will still be entitled to modernization with The Last of Us Part I. Sold as a full remake of the original, this seemingly second remastered episode in 9 years has sparked a lot of debate since its announcement. It finally comes out on September 2 on PS5 and journalists were able to deliver their review in preview.

Overall, they were very convinced, because The Last of Us Part I has a superb average of 88/100 on Metacritic. A technological marvel, visuals as captivating as the sound, a definitive vision of a cult adventure, the press is full of superlatives to describe the game. On the other hand, some point out that the general architecture of the experience remains the same as in 2013, which would perhaps not justify its price of 79.99 €or even the need to go through history again if it is still fresh in your memories.
