The Last of Us Part I: This exclusive PS5 edition could arrive in Europe!

In a few days, the whole world will be able to discover or rediscover The Last of Us Part I, all on Sony’s next-gen console, we are obviously talking about the PlayStation 5.

For this occasion, Naughty Dog has planned several editions for its fans, including one that has caused a lot of talk, the Firefly Edition. Listed for $99.99 for the physical version, during its announcement the developers had announced that it would only be available for the United States of America. Yes but now, after many disappointments and a few weeks of waiting, especially among European players, it could actually be that we too have the right to this little nugget.

The Firefly Edition of The Last of Us Part I available for us too?

It was on August 26 that the Naughty Dog studio made a rather enigmatic announcement on the social network Twitter. If the latter has announced a second draft regarding new availability for the Firefly version of The Last of Us Part I, the developer later stated that they are currently working with Sony to see what they can offer for European gamersin the near future.

Although nothing has yet been confirmed by the studio and everything is quite vague, we bet that we too will have the right to this special edition. For those who do not yet know what this offer contains, here is a small summary of the different elements included in the Firefly edition:

  • The basic game
  • The Left Behind DLC/Prequel
  • In-game bonuses (skill points to craft certain objects faster, explosive arrows, six weapon skins, etc.)
  • A unique steelbook
  • The Last of Us American Dreams Volume 1 to 4 comics with new covers

As for its price, the physical version will cost 99.99 dollars and the so-called dematerialized version, 89.99 dollars.

As a reminder, The Last of Us Part I will therefore be a remake of the first title originally released in 2013, and will be, for the moment, exclusive to the PlayStation 5although a PC version appears to be in development.

We will thus be able to enjoy the game but with completely new graphics and all under a new graphics engine specific to the Playstation 5. Thus, we will most certainly have a game closer to the graphics of The Last of Us 2, if this is no better, and there will be small in-game changes.

To discover all this, go to September 2 on PS5 !
