Real success in the United States on HBO and in France on Amazon Prime Video, The Last of Us is the phenomenon series of the moment. After two episodes, the highly anticipated adaptation of the famous video game has already convinced a large audience.
And the third episode, entitled “Long, Long Time”, convinced more since it marks a turning point in the series. It clearly differs from the two previous chapters by abandoning its two main heroes, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey), to focus on the romantic relationship between Bill (Nick Offerman) and Frank (Murray Bartlett).

In this third episode of The Last of Us, Joel, still affected by the death of Tess (Anna Torv), seeks to find former survivalist allies, Bill and Frank, to help him in his mission with Ellie ( Bella Ramsey). Except that they will not find the two men alive, the couple having ended their days after having lived together a long and beautiful love story.
And it is precisely this romance, told by flashbacks, which is at the heart of this third episode. This tragic but deeply beautiful and righteous love story moved viewers to tears, if their reactions on social media are to be believed.
