Sitting in the back of the van, Ellie finds a gay pornographic magazine, with glued pages, that belonged to Bill. If the whole sequence, quite funny, is very close to that of the video game, the fans were amazed to see how the scene was very faithful to the smallest details, in particular the magazine named Bearskin.
This sequence is important since it confirms that Bill is homosexual and that he had a love affair with his former partner Frank, whose corpse he found with Joel.
