A world collapses for Clara Gómez. For decades, the elderly lady has brought dolls from her childhood to Antonio Martínez’s shop. Here in the Pacifico district of Madrid, not far from Atocha train station, the 70-year-old straightens broken hands and feet or puts back failed eyes with the patience of an angel. Several boxes with glass eyes in all sizes and colors are stacked here.
