Microsoft is currently rolling out version 8.86 of its hugely popular Skype.

Because it’s not just Teams in life, Microsoft continues to refine its Skype software, acquired in 2011 for just under $9 billion. This results in the deployment of a new update, which allows Skype to migrate to version 8.86.
Among the novelties, Microsoft gives pride of place to instant reactions. They allow you to react quickly to a message by clicking directly on the reaction of another user, to use the same one. A system similar to what Slack offers for example. A function available on Windows, Mac, Linux and the web version of Skype, with the added bonus of various bug fixes and other improvements of all kinds.
Regarding Skype on Android and iOS, Microsoft says it has also hunted various bugs and other malfunctions, and has taken care to add new emoticons related to Ukraine. Here we also find the new function which allows you to react instantly to a message, based on the reaction of another user.
As always, it’s worth remembering that the update is rolling out, and it may take a few days to reach your favorite devices.
