The Leica Q3 camera test has joined our comparison

The Leica Q3 hits hard and immediately places itself at the top of the expert compact pyramid. Using a known and effective design and ergonomics (although still embedded in an imposing size), it has a very defined sensor, better autofocus and displays very honest video performance. An ultra-versatile device, quick to replace many others. If you had to keep only one box, it would probably be this one.

Alternatively

With this X100V, Fujifilm gives us an excellent vintage. The new optics, with better performance, could alone make you want to acquire it. If the identity of the series is well preserved, small ergonomic developments improve the copy. Tropicalization is available, but we regret the purchase of additional accessories to benefit from it. On the other hand, the compact expert does not forget to live with the times by notably offering eye detection and tracking alongside a convincing video mode. If it may be necessary to wait for the next version to enjoy a device approaching perfection thanks to stabilization of the sensor today absent, the X100V is in a good position to be crowned king of compacts by lovers of the fixed focal length.
