This is for example the case of the Lion King, an unforgettable Disney classic of the 90s, considered by many fans to be one of the greatest works of the enchanted studio, but which nevertheless conceals a few discreet small errors. Slight defects that our friends Michel and Michel did not fail to list in a program dedicated to the film.
To observe one of the most striking blunders of the feature film, you will have to look carefully at Simba’s eyes in the second part of the film, when the lion has already reached adulthood. Indeed, according to the plans and the scenes, you will be able to notice that the bottom of his eyes – that is to say the colorless zone which surrounds his pupils – regularly changes color.

When he sings Hakuna Matata with Timon and Pumbaa, his eyes are mostly yellow, but when chatting with them under the stars, they turn white. When he argues with Nala, they turn yellow again, and when he meets Rafiki, they are white again.
Could this change depend on the atmosphere of the sequence, and would it be conditioned by the lighting? Unfortunately, this excuse does not hold up, as can be seen in the scene where Simba faces the appearance of his father Mufasa. Indeed, during this sequence, his eyes pass successively from yellow to white in a fraction of a second.

But this repeated error of the colorists is not the only one of the film. At the beginning of Lion King, you will also be able to see Scar’s pads disappear and then reappear. In a deleted scene, young Simba’s whiskers have completely evaporated. And twice in the film, the hyenas end up with four fingers instead of three.
