The Lion's Den: New squadrons will air every Monday from August

The eighth season of the VOX show "Die Höhle der Löwen" starts in August. The new episodes are now always broadcast on Mondays.

The wait until the start of the eighth season of the VOX start-up show "Die Höhle der Löwen" (DHDL) will soon be over. The new episodes will start earlier than expected and will get a new slot: From August 31st, the Löwenrudel will look for the best deals every Monday at 8:15 p.m. instead of Tuesdays, as the broadcaster announced. Ex-Formula 1 world champion Nico Rosberg (35) is now also included.

Ideas from the areas of sport, food and sustainability

Rosberg and the rest of the investor group, Carsten Maschmeyer (61), Ralf Dümmel (53), Judith Williams (48, "How dreams learn to fly"), Nils Glagau (44), Georg Kofler (63) and Dagmar Wöhrl (66 ) expect food start-ups and young entrepreneurs from the fields of electromobility, packaging initiatives, innovative building materials and plastic waste prevention, as well as some sport start-ups. Ideas from the fields of tennis, football and fitness as well as a special training program only for mothers are presented. and even a real cow shows up at the pitch.

In addition, for the first time in the history of "DHDL", a company receives five individual offers from five different lions. Moderator Amiaz Habtu (42) leads the show as usual.
