New investor and top quota: "Die Höhle der Löwen" has more viewers in the target group than "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"

Numerous viewers followed the start of the autumn season of "Die Höhle der Löwen" on VOX (also via TVNow) on the new broadcast slot on August 31st. In terms of quota, the start-up show was able to record a market share of 17.8 percent with 1.35 million viewers in the target group of 14 to 49 year olds. According to the media magazine "DWDL", a total of 2.57 million people switched on.

"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", The rate show with Günther Jauch (64), had to accept losses when she returned from the summer break. Although the RTL show had more viewers overall, it had to admit defeat to the target group. Among the 14 to 49 year olds, Jauch only had a 10.8 percent market share. A total of 3.39 million Germans saw the show, which, according to the media magazine, only just missed its all-time low.

Nico Rosberg is new

Rosberg is the successor to Frank Thelen (44), who announced his departure in November 2019 after many years in the format. "Of course I had a great time in the studio, but my heart beats for technology and I am very grateful to be able to spend a large part of my time building disruptive tech start-ups again," Thelen told the news agency spot on in June news.
