the little boy's father comes out of his silence for the first time in 15 years

In a book to be published on January 15, 2021, "Parole d'avocat", written by Thierry Moser, one of the lawyers of the Villemin couple, the father of little Grégory, Jean-Marie Villemin, expresses himself and pays tribute to him. which he considers "a big brother."

The Gregory affair was so publicized that Jean-Marie and Christine Villemin, the parents of the little boy who disappeared on October 16, 1984, had remained very discreet in recent years. The last public release of Jean-Marie Villemin, for example, dates from 2006. Since then, if the resolution of this affair remains a mystery, the father of the murdered little boy had remained in silence, living far from the media coverage.

After 15 years without speaking publicly on the case, Jean-Marie Villemin has decided to break the silence through a book, Lawyer word, written by one of his lawyers Thierry Moser, which will be published on January 15, 2021, with La Valette editions. The little boy's father signs a poignant afterword in it in which he confides in the murder of his son in 1984 and the relationship he has had for all these years with his lawyer. Jean-Marie Villemin also looks back on the night he murdered Bernard Laroche: "I went to see Bernard Laroche for him to confess and I killed him in a moment of aberration and total despair ", he writes before explaining that, in these difficult times, Thierry Moser was a precious support and still is today: "How to summarize myself if not by saying that Thierry is a big brother for me with a big F. For more than 30 years, Thierry fights in a selfless and determined way."

"We hope, Christine and I, our lawyers, that we will finally be able to achieve, in the not too distant future, a fair solution. This must be done out of respect for Grégory's memory."

In this afterword, Jean-Marie Villemin also talks about the many twists and turns of the affair over the past thirty years. He returns, in particular, to the scientific expertises carried out in Switzerland which made it possible to reopen the file and to indict spouses Jacob and Murielle Bolle: "A twist that makes us hope for the elucidation of the crime of which our child is the unfortunate victim", he considers. If a procedural flaw resulted in the cancellation of these indictments, Jean-Marie Villemin still hopes to be able to have answers to this terrible trauma: "We hope, Christine and I, our lawyers, that we will finally be able to achieve, in the not too distant future, a fair solution. This must be done out of respect for Grégory's memory."
