After The Ladies of the Telephone, Elite, Money Heist, The Innocentor, Alta Mar a brand new Iberian production appeared on Netflix on Friday 27 January. As Miren, a journalist who is conducting the investigation in parallel and who does not intend to let go of the case. If she wants at all costs to help this family find their child, the young woman, played by Milena Smit, must also face her own suffering.

Is the detective series based on a true story?

Although many viewers have wonderedThe Little Girl in the Snow is not based on a true story. The detective series is an adaptation of the novel La chica de nievewritten by Spanish author Javier Castillo. For the Netflix production, the plot has nevertheless been slightly modified. Indeed, in the book, the action takes place in New York, in 1998, while the little girl is kidnapped during the Thanksgiving parade. Published in 2014, the book was a great success during the confinement. It has since sold 1.7 million copies, to the point of attracting the attention of Netflix, but is still not available in France. The novel should be published by Albin Michel on March 15.
