the long awaited patch 7 is finally here, it’s huge!

Players have been waiting for it with bated breath, and Baldur’s Gate 3 patch 7 is finally available! And it’s as huge as announced by Larian Studios!

It may be a magnificent swan song that Larian Studios is addressing to the masterful Baldur’s Gate 3, but patch 7 is finally available, at least on PC. For the console and Mac versions, however, you will have to wait until next month. In any case, the joyful Belgian studio had promised something huge for this highly anticipated major update, and it clearly did not lie about the goods!

Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 Finally Available to Shake Up the Forgotten Realms

Teased months ago now, Baldur’s Gate 3 is taking advantage of the start of the school year to finally welcome the long-awaited patch 7. Like the other major updates of GOTY 2023, this one is loaded with flagship new features. For players with a penchant for evil, we are notably entitled to new, very sinister ending cinematics. Co-op players, for their part, receive major improvements to enjoy in split screen. Finally, those who master the game inside out will be able to tackle new challenges in Honor difficulty, with Legendary Actions for the game’s bosses.

But what crystallized the most expectations regarding this huge patch 7 (with a colossal weight of 10 GB) for Baldur’s Gate 3, is of course the addition of tools to fully support mods. Larian Studios thus offers the keys to the castle to the community to transform its baby as it sees fit. Even if we must expect other minor updates to notably add a photo mode, the studio is now interested in the future with two new games.

It certainly won’t be long before players completely transform Baldur’s Gate 3, thanks to full access to its assets. They will therefore be able to indulge in the wildest fantasies to fill the title with virtually infinite content. Whether it’s new classes/races, spells, equipment, or even stories, the sky is now the limit for the flagship C-RPG stamped Dungeons & Dragons.
