The Champions League exit was a major setback for FC Barcelona. In the league game against FC Valencia things are looking up again. FC Barcelona wins and moves up to the top of the table. And ex-Bayern star Lewandowski: he hits with insane acrobatics.
Robert Lewandowski kept FC Barcelona on track after the Champions League exit, at least in the league. The former Bayern star striker scored for the Catalans in the third minute of added time to make it 1-0 (0-0) at FC Valencia. For at least one night, Barcelona moved to the top of the table ahead of arch-rivals Real Madrid. The Champions League winners play against FC Girona on Sunday.
For Lewandowski it was the 13th goal in the 12th league game. This puts him in the list of top scorers in the top Spanish division with a big gap at the front. The next best scorers have a maximum of seven goals. Lewandowski dominates the top scorer list at will.
When the goal is scored, a teammate has an eye for Lewandowski and crosses to the far post. Lewandowski reaches out and reaches the ball with the foot of the outstretched right leg. With that he sends the ball to the lower right corner.
Fear of World Cup
