Netflix: “Grace and Frankie” – Two unlikely friends

In 2015, the first episode “Grace and Frankie” ran on Netflix. The comedy is about two dissimilar women who are brought together by fate. It is their husbands who, in old age, drop the bombshell and tell their wives that they have been a couple for years and want to spend the rest of their lives together. A world collapses for women. They decide to go through life together from now on, even if it is anything but easy for the former rivals.

Grace (Jane Fonda) comes from the upper class and has lived a comfortable life so far. She has never had any real problems and dreams above all of luxury. Frankie (Lily Tomlin), on the other hand, lives an eccentric life and goes through the world openly, but her husband’s coming out hits her very hard and she is plagued by great doubts. The comedy about two women in their prime was able to inspire fans all over the world in a total of 94 episodes and will now find its worthy end in April 2022 only on Netflix.
