The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, new gameplay video in 4K with DLSS 3

In two short days will come out The Lord of the Rings: Golluman action and adventure game published by Nakon and developed by Daedalic Entertainment. While waiting for the launch, NVIDIA share a new trailer for gameplay to remind us that the title will benefit from its graphic technologies.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum had already been entitled to a trailer dedicated to the RTXbut NVIDIA is back with a new video a little more focused on the DLSS-3. The title will also be compatible with technologies DLAA And SLR, NVIDIA details:

  • Multiply performance with DLSS 3 :

In The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, GeForce RTX 40 series gamers can multiply performance with DLSS 3. In 4K, GeForce RTX 4090 performance is multiplied by 3.5, reaching 169 frames per all settings to maximum and all ray tracing options enabled. The GeForce RTX 4080 can reach 123 FPS, an increase of 3.8 times; the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti sees a 3.9x speedup, for 100 fps gameplay; the GeForce RTX 4070 gets a 3.8x boost, giving it a 79 fps result in our benchmark.

On GeForce RTX 40 laptops, DLSS 3 improves performance by an average of 2.5x at 2560×1440 at maximum settings and ray tracing enabled. At 1080p, DLSS 3 enables all GPUs in RTX 40 series laptops to run at over 90 fps, with the flagship GPU in GeForce RTX 4090 laptops exceeding 200 fps!

  • Improve image quality with DLAA :

With such fast refresh rates on many GPUs, GeForce RTX gamers may want to improve image quality with NVIDIA DLAA, an AI-based anti-aliasing mode that uses the same technology developed for the DLSS. DLAA uses a native resolution image to maximize image quality, and in The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, DLAA can be combined with DLSS Frame Generation for high image quality and excellent performance.

  • Responsive gaming with NVIDIA Reflex :

To make gameplay even more responsive, gamers with GeForce RTX or GeForce GTX 900-series GPUs and newer can enable NVIDIA Reflex. This reduces system latency so your actions happen faster, making single-player titles more responsive and enjoyable, and increasing your competitiveness in multiplayer matches. In The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, with Reflex enabled, system latency is reduced by up to 56%.

Incidentally, the graphics card manufacturer announces that Firmament And Togges are now playable with the DLSS2. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum release date is set for May 25, 2023.you can pre-order it against €44.90 on Amazon.
