The first season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is now over and it will a priori be necessary to wait 2 years to discover the next one on Amazon Prime Video. The casting will necessarily evolve in the next episodes, with new faces just unveiled by production.
Gabriel Akuwudike (Hana), Yasen ‘Zates’ Around (The Witcher), Ben Daniels (The Exorcist)Nia Towle (Persuasion), Nicholas Woodeson (SilentWitness) and Amelia Kenworth will all play new characters in the epic adventure sequel. Sam Hazeldine has been confirmed for a role we already know: that ofAdarthe leader of orcs. Yes, Joseph Mawle will not return and will be replaced by the actor who embodied George Sewell in Peaky Blinders : according Deadline, Amazon had decided to change actors even before the promotion of the series (in which Joseph Mawle did not participate), surely a sign of friction with the producers.
We will now have to be patient before discovering them in costumes and in action to The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Season 1 is available exclusively on Amazon Prime Videoa service to which you can subscribe for €69.99 per year.
