The Lords of the Fallen flaunts its technical and artistic qualities


A complex story like that of The Lords of the Fallen, the successor to 2014’s Lords of the Fallen, which CI Games took a long time to get under way due to serious economic complications in 2018 and the need to find a studio to replace Deck13, which left to join the Focus family. Dissatisfied with the progress of Defiant Studios, which saw the project withdrawn in 2019, CI Games finally founded its own studio a year later, HexWorks, to tackle the creation of this new action-RPG under the direct influence of FromSoftware. And for a studio founded in 2020 under the tutelage of such a modest publisher as CI Games, The Lords of the Fallen seems to express quite surprising artistic and technical qualities.
