The Lost Ark devs are back at the bots!

Present since the release of the title last February, bots are everywhere in Amazon Games Studio’s MMO. The developers are preparing to massively ban these accounts.

Whereas developers keep banning fake accounts, Lost Ark does not seem to manage to get rid of all these bots which pollute its servers. They were already the cause of the difficulties in accessing the title a few weeks after its launch. Players are starting to have more than enough of all these accounts just there to farm and resell their loot to players using their real money to advance in the game.

Player complaints were visibly heard since the studio announced through the game forumthat one another massive wave of bans will take place in the coming week. The developers are warning players that there will be greater fluctuations in the number of concurrent users playing Lost Ark, and that queues should decrease over time.

Amazon Games Studio also reassure players about possible bans by mistake. Thus, if your account is suspended, it will be necessary to contact the support of the studio via this link. The studio wants to be positive.

We know that the bot issue is a sore point for players and there is still work to be done. Our teams at Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG continue to work on a variety of tools and options to rid Arkesia of bots on a larger scale.

The teams behind the title obviously seem to still have a lot of work to do in their war against the bots.
