Season 3 of The Mandalorian cemented the relationship between Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff) so much that fans are hoping for more for these two characters. And they might well have had a hoped-for scene between the two.
Although the hero of The Mandalorian is Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), season 3 of the Star Wars series allowed Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) to shine. The latter has taken a prominent place in recent episodes by resuming her position as leader on Mandalore and the Mandalorians.
The many twists and turns of The Mandalorian’s third season served to fuel the relationship between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan, who grew considerably closer. So much so that some fans would like a romance to arise between the two heroes of the Star Wars series.
For the moment, there is no indication that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau will follow this direction in season 4 of The Mandalorian, whose production is postponed due to the writers’ strike.
A kiss between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan cut!
If a romance may be in the pipeline, the interpreters of the two protagonists have already tried the kiss… or almost! During the convention Phoenix Fan Fusion, Katee Sackhoff has indeed revealed that a kiss between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan had been exchanged in a deleted scene.
Even if it happened in a humorous way with the mask, the sequence does exist but it was not kept in the editing of season 3. Perhaps we will be able to discover it one day in a blooper or a making of?
There is all the same a detail to be clarified: it is not Pedro Pascal who was in Din Djarin’s costume during this kiss but Brendan Wayne, one of the two stunt actors who put on most of the time the mandalorian armor.
Indeed, Pedro Pascal is not very present on the set of The Mandalorian and he is illustrated above all by his vocal performance by Din Djarin. The vast majority of the time, it’s stunt comedians Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder who are in the Mandalorian’s guise.
