There it is, the first trailer for the second season of "The Mandalorian". More than ever in the center: the unequal bounty hunter / child team.
The first pictures of the second season of "The Mandalorian" have recently made the rounds, now the far, far distant "Star Wars" galaxy finally greets with the first trailer for the new episodes. This indicates that the bond between the title hero Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal, 45) and Baby Yoda alias "the child" has reached a new level and that the Jedi will finally appear more and more.
"Show me the one whose security justifies such destruction," a woman's voice can be heard via voice-over. At this moment, the Mandalorian steps out of the shadows, the cute fan favorite, to whom these words are dedicated, floats by his side. "You have to bring it back to his own" is the unmistakable off-screen mission. That means: to an "order of wizards, called Jedi."
This task does not trigger storms of enthusiasm in Din Djarin – "You expect me to search the galaxy and then hand this creature over to a people of hostile wizards?" Nevertheless, he makes his will more than clear to protect Baby Yoda to the utmost: "Where I go, he goes too." This statement is underlined by a quick sequence of impressive action scenes through which the Mandalorian and "the child" have to fight (and shoot) from October 30th.
