  • “The Mandalorian” didn’t tell us much about Grogu, after all, the little alien can’t talk yet.
  • However, in Season 3, we finally see what Grogu experienced before Season 1.
  • Now the title of the next episode has been revealed and it indicates an important Grogu episode.

Grogu has grown on Star Wars fans since the first episode of The Mandalorian. By now we’ve almost gotten used to knowing next to nothing about the cute 50-year-old alien. The revelation of his name in Season 2 was already cause for celebration, but we really should expect more in Season 3.

We already know from the trailer that The Mandalorian Season 3 will reveal more about Grogu’s past, but the exact timing has not yet been determined. Now the title of the next episode suggests that The Foundling will focus on Grogu. The title means something like “The Foundling” in German and of course that fits Mando’s little companion.

Usually, the titles of the respective episodes are not announced ahead of time, but in this case, Greef Karga actor Carl Weathers, who also directed the upcoming episode, has already spilled the beans on Twitter. This may also have been done with Disney’s permission to increase interest in the next episode, after all, season 3 viewership has so far left a lot to be desired.

In addition, it is already known that Episode 4 of “The Mandalorian” Season 3 will only last 31 minutes. After the last episode, which was almost twice as long, “The Mandalorian” proves once again that Disney+ gives Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau and the directors of the respective episodes free reign when it comes to the length of the episodes.
