The Mandalorian: This Jedi Saved Grogu From Order 66 – Jar Jar Binks Receives Pardon!

Little Grogu is a former protégé from the Jedi Temple and “The Mandalorian” season 3 finally clarifies which Jedi master ensured Grogu’s survival back then. The theories swirled around Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson), Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor), and even Yoda himself. In the end, Disney+ proved us all wrong.

In the third episode there is a flashback to Order 66. The clone troopers attack the Jedi temple and Grogu fears for his life. Suddenly, a Jedi master appears with two lightsabers, one green, the other blue, and saves the little greenling. But who is it?

Star Wars: Ahmed Best returns as Kelleran Beq

The Jedi who saves Grogu is Kelleran Beq, known to die-hard fans of the “Star Wars” universe from the children’s web series “Jedi Temple Challenge”. In the game show, participating children have to pass Jedi exams and Kelleran Beq acts as a moderator through the show.

Ahmed Best portrays the Jedi Master, who is also part of the official Star Wars canon. The actor also starred in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace and the other prequels as Kelleran Beq See Jar Jar Binks.

Kelleran Beq is in charge of training young Padawans at the Jedi Temple, similar to the game show. So it’s likely that Grogu also had some lessons under Kelleran Beq.
