Big surprise in the US version of "The Masked Singer": The snail had to reveal its identity. It was Kermit the frog!

In today's semifinals of the ProSieben show "The Masked Singer" even two celebrities will announce their identities. Could there be a surprise similar to the one in the US? In the variant there, which is currently being broadcast in parallel on the Fox channel, someone was hiding behind one of the costumes that nobody would have expected: Kermit the frog was the snail! The Muppet Show doll was the very first non-real character to hide behind one of the masks.

The "humanization" of Kermit has a long tradition in the USA. The sympathetic, bright green frog has appeared on talk shows several times or drove up to receptions, award shows and other events together with his girlfriend Miss Piggy in limousines.

The fifth season of the council show is currently running in the United States of America – incidentally with an audience and barely visible corona measures. The show is presented there by the presenters Nick Cannon (40) and Niecy Nash (51), while Robin Thicke (44), Jenny McCarthy (48), Ken Jeong (51) and Nicole Scherzinger (42) try their hand at the advice team.
