The Masked Singer: No studio audience in future episodes

The future episodes of "The Masked Singer" will take place again without a studio audience due to the tightened Corona measures.

A few viewers were able to cheer on hippopotamus, skeleton and Co. in the television studio in the first two issues of the fall season of "The Masked Singer". Due to the new, stricter corona regulations of the federal government, this is now over. As ProSieben and Sat.1 announced on Thursday (October 29th), there will be no studio audience for the time being. The productions will take place "to protect viewers, protagonists and employees" from empty stands.

ProSieben is taking its "role model function as a media company in the current situation very seriously," said channel boss Daniel Rosemann. Kaspar Pflüger from Sat.1 added: "With this step we would also like to ensure that we can continue to offer our viewers good entertainment in order to provide a little distraction in this very stressful time for many." "LUKE! Die Greatnightshow" with host Luke Mockridge (31) is also affected by the new restrictions.
