The remaining four secrets of “The Masked Singer” have been revealed. Among the tallest of them was Sasha aka the Dino.

On Tuesday evening, the lively guesswork of the current season of “The Masked Singer” found its spectacular finale. All four remaining singers had to be unmasked, this time with Joko Winterscheidt (42) as a guest judge. While Klaas Heufer-Umlaufs (37) partner in crime was terribly wrong with most of his tips on entertainment value, Ruth Moschner (44) and Rea Garvey (47) showed a better instinct.

This was also the case with the final unmasking of the evening, when singer Sasha (49) alias Dick Brave peeked out from under the dinosaur mask – and was crowned the winner with a toothpaste grin that was just as wide as his costume. But until shortly before midnight, three other stars had to be revealed …

A quick knockout for the turtle

Immediately after the first round of the finals, the unwelcome fourth place of this year’s season was revealed. The turtle scraped past the podium as close as possible – under the elaborate costume, as both Moschner and Garvey had suspected, Modern Talking singer Thomas Anders (58) was. Instead of being annoyed about the early end, Anders seemed to be happy about finally being able to take off the heavy and stuffy mask.

The unmasking of the flamingo followed in third place. As previously suspected several times, the bird of paradise Ross Antony (46) was among them. Even his deceptively genuine Spanish accent could not fool anyone. Thus the two final finalists of the fourth season were determined: the leopard and the dinosaur.

“Get Lucky” as hard rock

The Dino put on a powerful hard rock version of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” as a final performance and delighted the jury for the third time in the final show. The leopard went one step further: As the last live performance of the evening, she smacked Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor”. And then Joko was fabulously wrong in his guesswork one last time when he said: “I think we just saw the winner.”

Because to the surprise of a lot of viewers, Matthias Opdenhövel (50) announced the dinosaur as the winner of the fourth season. After this announcement, Cassandra Steen (41) did indeed appear under the leopardess. Not least because of her size of almost 1.9 meters, her name was mentioned repeatedly in the individual episodes.
