The Masked Singer: Stefanie Heinzmann is behind the Dalmatian

Tuesday night is back on the masks. The start of the second season "The Masked Singer" had ten new stars, ten new costumes and lots of entertainment to offer. After about three and a half hours of show and five stage duels, the fun for one of the masked celebrities was over: Stefanie Heinzmann (31).

Robot vs. Whisper

As in the previous year, the rate fun not only delighted the viewers in front of the TV screens at home, but also the prominent rate jury made up of Ruth Moschner (43) and Rea Garvey (46). They received support in the first show from comedian Carolin Kebekus (39). Could the three prove their good smells? The first duel of the evening was surprising: Under the robot costume, a woman's voice was hiding an aria with feeling but also strength. The jury tips: Vanessa Mai (27) or Jasmin "Blümchen" Wagner (39).

The Wuschel offered the contrast program to the robot. The 1.50 meter ball of fur turned out to be male and performed Gnarls Barkley "Crazy". At the end of the performance, the jury selected Adel Tawil (41) or Teddy Teclebrhan (36). In any case, the Wuschel was well received by the television audience than its duel partner. He was surely elected to the next round.

Cockroach vs. Rabbit, sloth vs. Dalmatian

The second duel made for a good mood. The cockroach rocked the house with Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise". The jury targeted a man with culinary skills: either Nelson Müller (41) or Jamie Oliver (44). On the other hand, there is definitely a lady under the rabbit, the three want to know. After the performance of Caro Emerald's "A Night Like This", you type in Franziska Knuppe (45) or Martina Hill (45). Apparently, the rabbit could not convince all along the line. The audience sent the cockroach to the next round.

With the sloth, another rapper seems to have made it onto the ProSieben show. He shook the stage with Shaggy's "Boombastic". Who did the jury suspect behind the mask? Tim Mälzer (49), Sascha (48) or Faisal Kawusi (28). The complete opposite was in duel three of the Dalmatians. The unknown female voice shone with the hit "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend". That can only be a diva, the jury speculated. They cast their votes for Judith Williams (48), Veronica Ferres (54) or Désirée Nick (63). The audience chose the sloth at the end of the duel.

Bat vs. Goddess, chameleon vs. Dragon

Two apparitions among themselves: In duel four, the bat faced the goddess. The bat delighted the rate jury with Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy" and got mixed tips: Model Franziska Knuppe should be behind it again or Anni Friesinger-Postma (43) or Claudia Pechstein (48). Then the goddess Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" whispered into the microphone. The rate jury disagreed. While Moschner suspected Birgit Schrowange (61) under the costume, Garvey wanted to have heard a man. Either way: The audience was convinced and chose the goddess one more round.

The last duel of the evening was dazzling and fiery. The chameleon shook the stage with "Dance Monkey" by Tones and I. What did the rate jury say? That can only be Dieter Hallervorden (84) or Martin Semmelrogge (64). The performance of the kite, which presented a soulful "Frozen" by Madonna, made an equally impressive impression. Here it was bet on Matthias Steiner (37) or Ray Wilson (51). The dragon was rewarded by the audience for so much feeling: it can sing again next week.

The end for the Dalmatian

Things got tight for the five "masked singers" who had lost their duel: robots, rabbits, dalmatians, bats and chameleons. They had to worry about moving on to the next round. Moderator Matthias Opdenhövel (49) made it exciting. The audience had decided – and let the Dalmatian reveal his identity. Singer Stefanie Heinzmann came to light, with whom hardly anyone had expected that evening.
