The Masked Singer: The bee has to take off its mask first

The start of the third season of "The Masked Singer" had a lot to offer again. For the bees, however, it has worked out.

The opening episode for the third season of the celebrity mask show "The Masked Singer" is through – and immediately came up with big surprises. The first celebrity was also unmasked. But one after the other.

"Even better and even crazier than ever before", the presenter Matthias Opdenhövel (50) had full-bodied announced at the beginning of the program – and had not promised too much. Because right at the first duel between the meerkat and the alpaca there was a premiere at the popular guessing and singing show. After Mrs. Meerkat had trilled the first notes, Mr. Meerkat came on stage for a duet. There has never been a couple performance.

The advice team around Bülent Ceylan (44), Sonja Zietlow (52) and guest Dieter Hallervorden (85) were completely excited and had some exciting tips ready. Hallervorden shot the rappers Bausa (31) and Juju (27) from the hip. Zietlow was for presenter Ina Müller (55) and singer Johannes Oerding (38) and Ceylan believed she had recognized model Angelina Kirsch (32) and cook Alexander Hermann (49). The audience was also enthusiastic about this surprising performance and voted the Erdmanns straight away. The alpaca must have been shaking.

Who has to drop his mask first?

In addition, in the first episode, alongside the Erdmann family, the hippopotamus, the alien, the cat that even moved Sonja Zietlow to tears with her performance of Adele's "Someone Like You" and the skeleton that rose to become the favorite, a direct Ticket for the next show. The alpaca, the anubis, the lobster, the bee and the frog had to tremble.

For the bee, the bottom line was that the fewest audience votes were received and she had to take off her mask. To the surprise of everyone, actress Veronica Ferres (55) was hidden under it. Previously, the advice team had put names like Eva Padberg (40), Lena Gercke (32), or YouTuber Bibi Claßen (32) in the room.
