The Masked Singer: These are the ten new costumes

"The Masked Singer" has revealed all ten costumes for the new season. Sonja Zietlow and Bülent Ceylan already have some celebrity tips.

ProSieben has revealed the remaining five costumes for the upcoming third season of "The Masked Singer". In addition to the frog, the skeleton, the bee, the alien and the hippopotamus, there are also the alpaca, the anubis, the cat, the meerkat and the lobster. At the press event specially scheduled for the unveiling, Sonja Zietlow (52) and Bülent Ceylan (44, "Bülent and his friends"), the two permanent members of the jury team for the new season, were already speculating wildly.

One thing became very clear at the event: Both Zietlow and Ceylan have already caught the guessing fever. The former even admitted to having already put together a list of possible participants. With a special tactic, however, both would not approach the matter and celebrity friends would not want to "stalk" them as Ruth Moschner (44) had done in the previous season. Likewise, it is not an advantage that the presenter and the comedian themselves were sweating under the masks as participants.

Evelyn Burdecki is definitely not there

Her tips on who is wearing the respective costume then covered a broad spectrum: For the alpaca, if it was a man, Ceylan guessed Capital Bra (25, "CB7"), Apache 207 (22) or Kaya Yanar because of the bum bag (47): "Only Kanaks wear that." Zietlow believed he recognized a petite person in the frog, "perhaps a ski jumper like Jens Weißflog or Dieter Thoma". They suspected the Alien to be an international star: Tom Kaulitz (31), according to Zietlow. Ceylan threw Conchita Wurst (31) in the round.

Maybe a model was typed for the bee, a cook like Steffen Henssler (48) for the martial-looking Anubis. Ceylan wanted a metal singer like Jennifer haben (25) from Beyond the Black for the skeleton. With the hippopotamus, Zietlow was certain: "That must be a tough one." Because: The hippopotamus is apparently wearing ballet shoes – so it dances and sings at the same time. Désirée Nick (64) maybe? The Hummer, who wears a Spanish flamenco outfit, was clearly singer Nico Santos (27, "Streets of Gold") for Zietlow. Ceylan believed more in a comedy colleague like Mirco Nontschew (50) or Tedros Teclebrhan (37) alias Teddy Comedy.

The meerkat was pretty "cute" to Zietlow and she suspected an actress in it. Ceylan was derived from Fiona Erdmann (32) or ex-tobogganist Susi Erdmann (52) based on the name. In the case of the cat, it became "catty". Zietlow guessed a small, petite person like Lena Meyer Landrut (29, "Satellite"). Ceylan suspected Evelyn Burdecki (32). "No. We don't need that or those Yotta here", Zietlow snarled. And ProSieben boss Daniel Rosemann (40) also assured: Evelyn Burdecki is definitely not there.

Production is safe

It was Rosemann who spoke up when asked about the hygiene concept of the program and explained that production was safe – probably even safer than in the supermarket. The standards are very high and a mask is required everywhere. In terms of the audience, too, they don't want to test any limits. A live audience is there, but there are fewer people than are allowed.

In addition to the former participants Zietlow (Rabbit) and Ceylan (Engel), there is a changing guest every week in the advice team. It starts on Tuesday (October 20) at 8:15 p.m. live on ProSieben and on Joyn. After that, the live broadcasts will always be broadcast on Tuesdays, only the semi-finals will then take place on a Monday (November 16). The final will take place again on Tuesday (November 24th) on ProSieben.
