For Galax’Sis it sang after the fourth show on “The Masked Singer”. Underneath was a professional singer.

New week, new songs, new clues: In the fourth show of the sixth season of “The Masked Singer” (always on Saturdays, live from 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and on Joyn), the celebrity knowledge of the advice team was once again in demand. Ruth Moschner (45) and Rea Garvey (48) were supported this time by moderator Linda Zervakis (46). Who had to leave the show just before the semifinals next week?

Is there an ex-“Bachelor” under the thorn devil?

The first appearance of the evening was made by the thorn devil, who, according to Garvey, has the character trait of liking himself. The singer suspected Ur-“Bachelor” Paul Janke (40) under the exotic costume. At Moschner and Zervakis, on the other hand, the names Bela B (59), Farin Urlaub (58), Matthias Steiner (39) and Patrick Bach (54) were mentioned.

The starfish delighted the audience and jury with Jennifer Lopez’ (52) “On the Floor”. “J.Lo can pack up,” said the “crush” Ruth Moschner, who, among other things, threw Jasna Fritzi Bauer (33) into the puzzle pot. Victoria Swarovski (28) and Andrea Berg (56) were brought on by Garvey and Zervakis.

In the past week, the zebra enchanted Garvey in particular with his outstanding voice. This time there was a particularly emotional version of Britney Spears’ (40) hit “Baby One More Time” for the best. “Today you showed again how good you can sing,” Garvey enthused again. The advice team’s tips: Ilse DeLange (44), Patricia Kelly (52) and Ella Endlich (37).

Galax’Sis seemed to elicit question marks from the jury. “A bit of seriousness, do we even know who that is?” Says the clueless Rea Garvey. At least one assumption could be cleared up: It was obviously not the Zervakis suspected by rate guest Ralf Schmitz (47) under the mask. The presenter tapped on the mother of climate activist Greta Thunberg (19), Malena Ernman (51). Anke Engelke (56), Mandy Capristo (32) and Joana Zimmer (39) were named by Moschner and Garvey.

A whole new gorilla

“Incredible,” “amazing,” and “madness” were just a few of the compliments people got after the gorilla’s performance. Since he had put on an impressive dance routine on Saturday night, the guessing team apparently had to discard some of his guesses. “Now I’m confused,” said Zervakis. Finally, Sky du Mont (74), Uwe Ochsenknecht (66) and Nico Santos (29) were named. However, Garvey needs a week “to research the new gorilla”.

The jury was particularly “excited” about the appearance of the orc. After all, he has sung in Italian, Turkish and English so far. After a soulful performance by Billie Eilish (20) “When the Party’s Over” and watery eyes from the advice team, the names of Nazan Eckes (45), Meta Hiltebrand (39) and Franka Potente (47) were mentioned.

Disco ball shines with a new robe

Last, but not least, the disco ball appeared – and caused the surprise of the evening: she took off her opulent ball costume and temporarily appeared with a significantly less voluminous glitter robe. This gave the guessing team at least a brief glimpse of the celebrity’s physique. “That was brilliant,” Garvey gushed. Furthermore, the name of Jeanette Biedermann (42) remained in the running.

After the first two decisions, the starfish, Galax’Sis and the orc had to fight again on the stage to get into the semi-finals. The latter made an appearance in Spanish. Garvey was sure that Michelle Hunziker (45) was under the mask.

In the end, Galax’Sis had the fewest votes. Under the costume – as already suspected by the advice team – was Joana Zimmer (39). “It was a great adventure,” enthused the singer after her unmasking.
