Rate boss Ruth Moschner received support from Yvonne Catterfeld and Ross Antony on Saturday evening. This time the whistle was exposed.
Another celebrity candidate was unmasked on ProSieben on “The Masked Singer” on Saturday evening. With Yvonne Catterfeld (42) and Ross Antony (48), rate boss Ruth Moschner (46) received support from two experienced “TMS” experts on the show. Both were once among the masked in the ProSieben format (also with Joyn) and have now switched sides. As a highlight, the robot “No Name” finally got its own name and the whistle had to unmask itself. Which celebrity was behind the mask who was happy to “be booed”?
Michael Kessler or Alexander Mazza?
“The Masked Singer” started the third episode of the current season with an innovation. For the first time, several costumed people were on stage at the same time and performed a song together. Black Mamba, Goldi and the Mole showed that they would also work as a boy band. For her solo appearance, Black Mamba again put everything on its “hypnotic effect” and chose the Madonna hit “Like a Prayer” for it.
Ruth Moschner stuck to an assumption. Last week, the rate boss could introduce himself to Michael Kessler (55), because Black Mamba wore his red glitter boots again. This footwear could be a reference to the actor and his boot scene in the movie “Manta, Manta”. Or maybe moderator Alexander Mazza (49) is behind the mask?
In the case of the mole, the question had not yet been resolved as to whether his accent was fake or real. While Moschner suspected that the pronunciation was fake, Ross Antony believed more in an Irish accent that could fit singer Michael Patrick Kelly (44).
Grumpy, fluffy and cute – Goldi still didn’t want to be considered cute and hoped to be voted out by the viewers. “Because of the inner hatred, it could be Hans Werner Olm,” speculated Ruth Moschner. “There is only one who is so cuddly that you want to go to bed with him,” Ross Antony said and hoped for actor Simon Pearce (41) behind the mask.
Nameless robot gets its own name
Ironically, the werewolf and “No Name” made a duet on the “TMS” stage. For this, the unequal couple chose the song “Walk this way”, including a rap part of the robot. But “No Name” was looking forward to just one moment all the time – his baptism. The viewers chose their own name for the robot via the app. After suggestions like Schrauby or Büchsen Bernhard, the fans decided on the name Rosty. Baptism was of course done with oil instead of holy water.
The masking of the werewolf was just as hotly speculated. Yvonne Catterfeld could well imagine “the count” under the fur. According to Moschner, Wolfgang “Wolle” Petry (71) could have disguised himself as a bad wolf. The rate team agreed that the tooth fairy must also be a professional singer.
When it came to the whistle, opinions initially differed. Could soccer player Sami Khedira (35) or handball player Pascal Hens (42) be behind the mask? Definitely someone who “can move incredibly well,” Ross Antony looked closely and guessed Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (30). Far from it, it was Thomas Hayo (53). The viewers had already suspected the “Germany’s next top model” judge under the mask. “I never thought I’d enjoy being booed like this,” he said at the end.
