there is a new DLC, SoLA, but also an arrival on Steam. After discovering the secrets of a sect in Haus, head to the Californian beaches to take part in the biggest rave in history. Obviously, this incessant noise will not have gone unnoticed. And a new wave of zombies found themselves mixed with the survivors. Between the blood and a threatening presence, it’s time to go back and clean up.
A new virus seems to have spread, making zombies even more dangerous. It is by receiving a mysterious message that players will discover SoLA. Invited to explore its ruins, their adventure will be punctuated by music from beyond the grave. But new threats arise, the “Whippers”, who have a compulsive need to mutilate themselves. With their guts hanging out, they can be formidable even from a distance. Just like the “Clotter”, which can decompose into a puddle of blood. Fortunately, amid all this chaos, new weapons await the survivors.
The SoLA DLC Dead Island 2 will be available from April 17, 2024 on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation and Xbox. However, the Steam version of the game should arrive on April 22. Nothing has been confirmed regarding the presence of the two expansions at launch. However, it is hard to see Deep Silver depriving itself of this possibility of selling a Gold Edition with the two DLCs.
