Keanu Reeves returns to the cinema as a neo. Now a first trailer for “The Matrix Resurrections” has been published.
Keanu Reeves (57) and Carrie-Anne Moss (54) will dive back into the Matrix as Neo and Trinity in the cinema from December 23, 2021. Warner Bros. Pictures opened on September 9th the first trailer for “The Matrix Resurrections”, which is now the fourth part of the series.
What is the fourth part about?
The roughly three-minute clip shows that fans of sci-fi action can obviously look forward to all kinds of martial arts, explosions and spectacular stunts. Neo (Reeves) and Trinity (Moss) don’t seem to remember each other in “Resurrections” at first. The protagonist is obviously back in the Matrix at the beginning of the trailer and tells a psychiatrist (Neil Patrick Harris, 48): “I had dreams that weren’t just dreams. Am I crazy?” Neo and Trinity appear to be suffering from amnesia. And the famous blue and red pills will also play a role again.
In addition to Reeves, Moss and Harris, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (35), Jessica Henwick (29), Christina Ricci (41), Jada Pinkett Smith (49) and Priyanka Chopra (39) can be seen in “The Matrix Resurrections” . It was previously announced that Hugo Weaving (61, Agent Smith) and Laurence Fishburne (60, Morpheus) will no longer be there. Directed by Lana Wachowski (56).
