The synthetic business climate index in the construction industry in France stands at 103.4 points in October 2023, indicated the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) at 8:45 a.m. Thus, the morale of business leaders in the sector decreased by 1.8 points over one month. The index being above its long-term average (100), the opinion of construction business leaders on the evolution of the economy is therefore positive.
In September, the index was 105.2 points (a figure which has just been revised by INSEE), down 0.5 points over one month.
