The 73rd edition of the Cannes Film Festival closed this Saturday, July 17, 2021. For 12 days, the event brought together the biggest celebrities on the planet. On a daily basis, we were able to discover their looks as well as their beauty treatments on the occasion of the rise of the steps of the Palais des Festivals. Moreover, this year was a bit special since the stars seemed to have given themselves the word. Indeed, many of them have chosen to be more natural on the Cannes red carpet.
Whether it is Andie Macdowell, Sharon Stone or even Jodie Foster, all three have dared to display their graying hair when they climb the stairs. They thus proved that it was possible to have white or gray roots and to style your hair in a very elegant way. Finally, no coloring either for Helen Mirren who sported her beautiful white hair. We fell in love with her high bun worn in Cannes! And it must be said that it’s really good to finally see women who are making their age on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. It is completely normal and natural to have white hair or graying roots. So there is no reason for this to create complexes or become taboo!
