Five years after season 3, “True Detective” is finally back. A flawless for this new season with Jodie Foster and Kali Reis if we are to believe the American critics.
It’s been so long since True Detective’s last season – and so much more since its 2014 launch – that the prospect of a new season seemed like a vanished dream. But season 4, titled “Night Country”, is indeed about to be released.
And early fans can rest assured: Issa López, the director and chief screenwriter of this season who took over the reins after Nic Pizzolatto, seems to live up to the appointment and expectations. Because the series is about to make a pretty spectacular comeback, judging by early reviews.
In fact, these early reviews are so positive that the HBO show has already reached a score of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes.
According to the official synopsis, the fourth installment follows Jodie Foster and Kali Reis as police officers searching for eight Alaskan scientists who have disappeared without a trace.
A unanimous press
While the public still has to wait until Sunday January 14 in the United States and until Monday January 15 in France, American critics had the chance to discover season 4 in its entirety and they are 98% in favor of it. their praises if Rotten Tomatoes is to be believed.
