Motorola is far from new to the folding smartphone market and unveils new Razr every year. The firm, owned by Lenovo, aims to compete with the South Korean Samsung, which dominates the sector with its Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4. It intends to refine its formula with the Razr + 2023, a clamshell model that will succeed the Razr 2022 It will have a lot to do, since other players like Oppo and its attractive Find N2 Flip are also positioning themselves in this market.

According to the MySmartPrice site, the mobile should be released at the end of the year, and have the largest external screen on the market, thus exceeding the 3.26 inches of the Oppo model. Such a slab makes it possible to perform more tasks without having to unfold the device.
The leaker Evan Blass has also had a field day by sharing a visual, unconfirmed of course, of the device. The opportunity to see that the screen completely surrounds the two photo sensors and the Led flash. However, the mystery surrounding the spec sheet was total.
The leaker in question, however, discovered that the smartphone had the code name XT2321, which made it possible to learn a little more about it. In particular, it would carry a 2850 mAh battery, compatible with 30 W charging. A capacity that seems very low, even on this type of folding model, especially since the Razr 2022 already suffered from limited autonomy with its accumulator of… 3500 mAh.
For comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a 3700 mAh battery, while the Find N2 Flip goes up to 4300 mAh. Unless there is very extensive optimization, we can therefore expect to find this modest autonomy on the youngest from Motorola, especially if the model is powered by an energy-intensive chip.
However, this information should be taken with a grain of salt. This data concerns a battery, and the smartphone could for example carry a second, more compact one. However, nothing is specified and as it is, it is the only known power source. We should know more in the coming weeks, hoping for a good surprise on this subject.
