The Moulin Rouge: it is now possible to spend a night in the legendary Parisian cabaret

The mythical Moulin Rouge, in Paris, in partnership with the Airbnb accommodation platform, offers the unique experience of spending a whole night in this cabaret, symbol of Montmartre, for a symbolic euro.

For the first time since its creation in 1889, this iconic room is open to the public, and therefore allows the curious to spend a night in the very heart of the mill. A dream accessible only for three nights, June 13, June 20 and June 27. Reservations will open worldwide on May 17 at 7 p.m. sharp. It will be necessary to act quickly, since the first three connected will be the three lucky ones.

However, in 133 years, the mill has never been fitted out, and has always been used as a storage room. For the occasion, the room has been totally transformed in the style of the “belle époque”.

The room is an evocation of this Paris of the 1900s, the decor is magical, flowers line the room, from which emerges a delicate perfume. Each object is meticulously chosen, like this replica of the cabaret with La Goulue, the insolent dancer who made the beautiful hours of the place. We imagine Toulouse Lautrec lurking in the room crunching his muse. The room is decorated with a multitude of carefully selected pieces, mirrors, pearl necklaces, four-poster bed… Everything is an evocation of this time when Paris was the world capital of pleasures.

A site visit as a bonus

The terrace will be privatized for these three nights, also revisited in the colors of the 19th century. The lucky winners will also have the privilege of having breakfast with this unique view.

But before that they will experience an unforgettable moment, a private tour of the mill with access to the archives. Discover the backstage and countless costumes with the privilege of being welcomed by Claudine Van Den Bergh, one of the Moulin Rouge’s reviewers, in her dressing room, a space never before accessible to spectators. A table will be reserved in the mythical room with the famous dinner show.
