After developing the sympathetic Friday the 13th: The Gamethe least successful Predator: Hunting Grounds and the most recent Arcadegeddonthe IllFonic studio is back with a new multiplayer game: Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. The developers therefore remain on familiar ground, with a new adaptation of a successful license. Announced last March, the game has just found a release date set for at least October.
The ghost hunt is on soon
Along with announcing its release date, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed also opens its pre-orders. For the moment, French retailers have not yet listed the boxed version and digital pre-orders will be launched in the afternoon, this August 18, on most online stores or on the Epic Games Store.
Digital pre-orders will grant early access to Slimer along with various goodies, like a proton pack, custom particle launcher, and skins. And yes, you understood it correctly, there will be a physical edition for the game on home consoles.
