A low price for good ergonomics and Xbox / PC compatibility

The price-quality ratio of the Nacon EVOL-X is particularly attractive, and this is what merits its inclusion in our comparison of the best PC and console controllers.

The machine has been designed to provide a comfortable and ergonomic grip, even during long gaming sessions.
The shape of the handles is adapted to the shape of the hands, for a natural and intuitive grip.
Its lightly textured coating provides better grip and reduces perspiration.

The Nacon controller also proves to be versatile; it can be used on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

What is the Nacon EVOL-X worth compared to the competition of the same price?

There are few comparable models at this price level; you therefore have to push around twenty euros further, first with the GameSir T4 Kaleid. It has several advantages, such as the gyroscope (even if its management is incomplete) or the fairly successful RGB aesthetic.

However, the Nacon EVOL-X includes a detachable cable one meter longer and, above all…. it has the advantage of being compatible with Xbox (XOne / XSeries), which is not the case with the GameSir model.

In the same price range, we also have the market reference, the authentic one, namely the Xbox Series Controller. Compared to the Kaleid, the difference is notable in terms of ergonomics.

Compared to the official Xbox controller, there is no comparison: the Nacon EVOL-X falls short, with a less noticeable grip and a directional cross that lacks flexibility. Let us remember, however, that it is almost 20 euros cheaper; a difference not to be overlooked!

Nacon, specialist in computer accessories

In addition to being well established, Nacon is a recognized brand, specializing in video game accessories. First positioned on audio headsets, the manufacturer quickly expanded its product range to include keyboards, mice, steering wheels, simulation seats, etc. and, in this case, game controllers!

Among the manufacturer’s popular models, the Revolution series stood out with its many advanced features, such as programmable buttons, interchangeable sticks and adjustable weights.

Nacon has also worked on more affordable models, which is the case with the EVOL-X, whose price is very reasonable in comparison to the overall quality of the equipment.
